There's the "life-changing spiritual retreat" in Sedona...the mindfulness retreat in the Shambhala Mountain Center...the Digital Detox retreat to "disconnect to reconnect"...and then there's people (like me) who need retreats like this urgently, and more than once a year, but couldn't practically make that happen!

Starting May 24, for six weeks, we will explore Shabbat; the gift of a weekly retreat that can grant us mindfulness, community, tech-free zones, and a deeply satisfying spirituality. We will explore under the challah cover and over the Shabbat flames to see the inner, precious beauty of traditions that go way beyond what the eye can see.

In addition to the class, we will have a hands on cooking component to complement the lesson with various traditional - and maybe not so traditional Shabbat foods.
