Torah Library

In honor of Shavuot, our Shul has embarked on a major project - to purchase books - classic and contemporary works, with English translation to be used in the Shul and by members of the Shul. Included in the selection will be a set of English Artscroll Talmud (71 volumes). Estimated costs for stage one of the library is $6,000.  Donations in honor/memory of your loved ones can be made here.

8/12/2011 - Library Update:

To Date our Library has ordered the Full Talmud with English translation, the full Yad (aka Rambam or Maimonides) with English translation and the Shulchan Aruch - the Code of Jewish Law.  We also have the complete Tanach wiht explanation in English. This is heading up to be a magnificent Reference Library, which is a necessity and honor for a Jewish community.  (We're not called the People fo the Book for nothing!) 

This has cost over $3800 and we are grateful to these families for making it happen: the Platt, Bush, Avidan, Sara Lee Austin, Amy Austin, Sherman, Yarmo, Friedman, Amar and Shapiro Families.

Landscaping

Someone has generously sponsored the cost of initial landscaping to enhance the property. 

Round Tables

Under the direction of Mrs. Joan Kramer, a group of women have sponsored round tables that seat 10, to enhance our events and programs.  
 

Sukkah Patio

Phase One and Two of the Sukkah Patio have been completed with washing sinks and BBQ refrigerator. The final phase will be to install fans and a misting system.

Chumash Campaign

We have our first installment of the brand new 'Gutnick' Shul Chumash in Shul, and people are enjoying using them. If you would like to dedicate Chumashim to the Shul for $55 each, please click here.
