Are you tired of being solicited? Have you been flooded with various fundraisers? Join us for the next Rosh Chodesh Society class as we explore the mitzva of Tzedakah. This class is sure to change your perspective on the art of giving.

Larger Than Life's Lesson 3, entitled: The Pledge Fund "A Charitable Foundation" will take place this coming Wednesday, January 16th at 6:30pm.

Money makes the world go round. Without it, nearly everything we wish to achieve would not be possible. Most of us dedicate much of our time, effort and energy to the pursuit of earning money.

“Charity” is when we give of these financial resources to others. Despite all we have exerted in the quest for our income, we still find it within ourselves to contribute to various worthy causes.

What is the motivation for these acts of generosity? Is there more to giving than meets the eye?

I look forward to seeing you. If you are not yet registered, you can click here to do so.

Delicious light dinner will be served.

__________
This course focuses on areas outside the domain of the synagogue and Jewish ritual and explore what it means to live as a Jew in "the rest of our life," and how a Jewish woman is expected to interact with the world around her. It shines a spotlight on the Torah view of our social and ethical responsibilities, and its impact on the world. From the ethics of shopping, to privacy in today's tech-world, to honoring our parents, and more. Each lesson of this course will contain an applicable, resonant, personal takeaway message for everyone who attends.

The Rosh Chodesh Society is a global initiative that aims to transform the lives of Jewish women, their families, and their greater communities through the bonds of shared Jewish experience. It was created nine years ago in memory of the Rebbetzin Rivky Holtzberg, the Chabad shlucha to Mumbai, India, who was brutally murdered by terrorists in her home/Chabad House.   I'm delighted that we are part of the RCS family's international network of over 200 chapters and have the privilege and pleasure of unifying together with thousands of Jewish women worldwide.
