The Yahrtzeit Memorial Board

You can now commemorate your loved ones within the community. At the yartzeit, and for yizkor, the appropriate names will be illuminated.

This one of kind masterpiece is now hanging in our Shul and the names that have been ordered have been engraved. See pictures of the board below.

The Dedication of a Memorial Plaque for a loved one is $1,000.00. If a family wants to dedicate more than one plaque, the second plaque will be $900.00.

The plaque can be entirely in English, entirely in Hebrew, or with the name in Hebrew and the rest in English.

Names inscribed on the plaque will have their Yahrtzeit observed in the following manner:
  • A card will be mailed each year with a reminder of the day of the Yahrtzeit.
  • If there is no family member present on the Yahrtzeit day to say the “Kaddish”, it will be said for you.
  • The memorial bulb will be lit during the week of the yahrtzeit and during all Yizkor days.
  • Four times a year, on Yom Kippur, Succos, Pesach, and Shavuos, prayers will be recited for the name of the departed, at the conclusion of the Yizkor service.
